The state of Berlin is striking a new path in the field of educational consulting by entering into the digital world. The new online platform Casian was developed expressly for this, based on PURIS. Casian standardizes processes and supports labor market consultants with their highly individual consulting services.

As a partner for content consulting and operationalization, SIRUP developed the case management solution and the associated digital transformation of large parts of the consulting process together with the KES Verbund (Arbeit und Leben e.V.). SIRUP, for its part, then took care of the strategic planning, conception, user interface design for an optimal user experience and the complete technical implementation of the system.

Good quality management

The publicly funded educational consultancy supports citizens in shaping their educational and vocational paths, thereby increasing their chances on the job market. The increasing demand for good consulting requires constant qualitative optimization of the existing offer. Casian intervenes exactly at this point and provides a good basis for future-oriented quality management in the consultation process.

Another nice benefit: consultants can apply for funding from the authorities directly via the online platform. The applications are then also processed centrally by the authorities on the platform.

Casian brings light into the darkness

Consulting and coaching is implemented in Berlin in a decentralized manner by a variety of agents with different specialties. More than 40,000 consultations and coaching sessions are carried out each year. The extensive evaluation options form the special core element of the system. Anonymously acquired data can be collected in a variety of statistics and infographics and exported for reports for public sponsors. In addition, customers can also be surveyed automatically.

With Casian, Berlin's educational consultancy is able to use a modern case management system and thereby offer reputable, high-quality consultations that have a sustained positive impact on employment in Berlin.
